WORKSHOP: Creative Bird Making

Ready to create your own sculptured garden friend?

Join Hanna Wood for a hands-on workshop where you’ll design and construct your very own small bird using a variety of everyday materials.

In this 2-part workshop, you will:

• learn various techniques as you design, shape and assemble your bird using materials such as paper, masking tape, wire, and lightweight wall filler
• practise building up and sanding back processes for developing the structure of your bird
• explore painting techniques suitable or your bird’s material
• learn about colour composition, mixing, and application to achieve the desired look and feel
• discover ways to add details and patterns to make your bird truly unique.

Knowledge required

This workshop is perfect for anyone with a desire to create!  No prior experience is necessary, just bring your creative flair and enthusiasm.

• All materials and tools are supplied – including a range of everyday materials for constructing your bird, and paints and brushes for adding personality to your creation.
